The Danish Business Club – South Africa
The Danish Business Club (DBC) is a private initiative founded in 1993 to facilitate and support the development of stronger business relations between South Africa and Denmark. The DBC encourages the exchange of information and interaction between its members in the interests of the Danish-South African business community.
Objectives
Our main objective is to promote direct Danish-South African business trade and investment links through the provision of services, advice and general information.
- Promote direct Danish-South African trade, investment, industrial and economic ties through the dissemination of information;
- Assist and advise members and non-members in their efforts to promote business opportunities between the countries.
- Keep ongoing contact with Danish and South African trade and industry organizations, as well as the Royal Danish Embassy and the EU in order to complement and support their efforts at business promotion;
- To act as a channel of communication on business opportunities between Denmark and South Africa.

Unique Network
DBC offers a unique network, and organizes a number of sundowner meetings, to which we invite guest speakers to address our members on topics of special and broad commercial interest to the members.

Members
The Danish Business Club is open to members from both South Africa and Denmark, as well as to companies, who are interested in strengthening relations between South Africa and Denmark. We are approx. 80 members.
